Group Reservations Coordinator

We are seeking a seasoned Group Reservations Coordinator to oversee the daily management of group reservations.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and follow-up on all group inquiries
- Enter groups into our system with relevant notes, traces, and rates
- Action daily group traces and chase or cancel groups on option
- Coordinate information/queries with Hotel Operations
- Recognize repeat business and special requests
- Complete weekly/monthly group reports
- Ensure efficient filing
- Upsell and recommend hotel facilities
- Be knowledgeable of hotel market pricing
- Implement sales guidelines for groups
- Proactively identify low demand periods
- Ensure effective implementation of company SOPs
The ideal candidate will have at least three years' experience in a hotel reservations office with expertise in group reservations. They must possess keen attention to detail with good numeracy skills and excellent communication skills, fluent in English both written and verbally.
