A full QQI level 7 Award in Social Care or Applied Social Care/Studies/Practice at degree level is essential, with at least 6 months recent experience working as a Social Care Worker supporting people with complex needs. Eligible to register with CORU as a Social Care Worker.
Key Skills Required:
- Proven knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating to the Social Care Sector
- Understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Implementation and development of support/care plans and PCP's
- Excellent communication skills
- Full drivers licence (manual) essential
