Pharmacy Team Member

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Support Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in Cork.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and possess excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the dispensary with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and other healthcare professionals.
  • Manage monthly submissions to payment boards and proactively follow up on rejected claims.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our pharmacy business through proactive approaches to nursing homes and institutions.

Requirements:

  • Hold a PSI approved pharmacy qualification and be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
  • Be able to deal with high-volume dispensing efficiently.
  • Have a genuine passion for customer needs and interaction.
  • Be a personable communicator with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer care in a community-based pharmacy setting.
