Construction Site Lead

This position involves leading and managing site-based project management teams on large-scale projects. The role requires effective delivery across all packages of work, ensuring that works are delivered safely, to the required quality standards, on time, and within budget.
The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating construction project management teams, managing quality control on site, and monitoring construction progress. They will also identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating construction project management teams
- Managing quality control on site
- Monitoring construction progress
- Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree (Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline) or equivalent professional experience
- Chartered status (e.g., CEng, MCIOB, ChPP) or working towards chartership
- Relevant post-graduate experience, with experience in managing large civil engineering / infrastructure projects
- Strong working knowledge of the NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts, particularly the Project Manager role
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients
