Job Description

The role of a Pediatric Care Specialist is to deliver high-quality care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

This specialist will work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care, developing and implementing individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child. The role also involves contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote quality care and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to children and their families.
  • Work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote quality care and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Fully registered with the relevant nursing authority.
  • Minimum 1 year's post-qualification experience working in a pediatric setting.
  • Working knowledge of information technology.
  • Experience of working within an interdisciplinary team.
