Leading Private Equity Fund Accounting

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to oversee a growing Private Equity Fund Accounting team. This pivotal role involves managing workloads, ensuring deadlines are met, and providing leadership to maintain a high-performing environment.
Job Description:
This is a 12-month contract with strong potential for extension or permanent hire. You will lead and support a team, review and oversee NAVs, valuations, and client reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a growing Private Equity Fund Accounting team.
- Review and oversee NAVs, valuations, and client reporting.
- Manage workloads efficiently while meeting client service levels and regulatory deadlines.
- Provide coaching, training, and continuous development for team members.
- Act as the key liaison with clients, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- Drive improvements in processes, automation, and reporting quality.
- Contribute to the department's strategic goals and business priorities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- 10+ years post-qualification experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.
- Experience reviewing NAVs.
- Proven people leadership, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage teams.
- Strong client service orientation and ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.
- Private Equity Fund Accounting knowledge (or willingness to develop quickly).
