Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Specialist to join our team in either the Dublin, Cork or Carlow office.

This position offers exposure to a broad range of areas within the environmental sectors, including planning and EIAR, waste management, infrastructure development, waste licensing and permits, industrial emissions licensing, and environmental due diligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project management and coordination of Environmental Impact Assessments, Strategic Environmental Assessments, Appropriate Assessments, planning application documentation and other environmental reports
  • Provide expert environmental technical assistance to the business
  • Actively participate in the delivery of business development initiatives
  • Manage the implementation of regulatory approvals

Requirements

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a relevant environmental discipline, with a minimum of 8 years post-graduate experience in an environmental position. Chartered status in relevant discipline is also required.

Excellent knowledge of planning, environmental and waste management legislation is essential. The ability to report, plan and license/permit applications for a wide range of projects is also necessary.

Other key skills include excellent attention to detail, flexibility and a team player attitude, as well as excellent report writing and technical reviewing skills.
