Job Description:

As a Medical Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional patient care and leading clinical teams within our healthcare organization. Your expertise in General Internal Medicine will be invaluable as you work to deliver high-quality medical services.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extending into a permanent position. You will be based in Kerry, Ireland, where you will have the opportunity to experience the county's breathtaking natural beauty and rich history.

  • Clinical Duties:

    1. Provide expert medical care to adult patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.

    2. Lead clinical teams, supervise junior staff, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

    3. Develop and implement clinical programs that enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Registration as a specialist in General Internal Medicine with the Medical Council in Ireland or equivalent qualifications.

  • Excellent clinical and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and patients.
