Accounts Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong financial skills and attention to detail.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and managing payments. They will also assist in preparing invoices for residents' care fees, liaise with families and funding bodies, and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements.
  • Prepare invoices for residents' care fees and liaise with families and funding bodies.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled, including bank reconciliations and payroll processing.
  • Assist in monitoring budgets and managing financial flow.
  • Evaluate and implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting/finance role, ideally within a healthcare or nursing home setting. Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software is essential, and a qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field is desirable.
