We are hiring two Clinic Nurses to work at our Dublin City Centre Clinic and Coolock Clinic, situated in Northside Shopping Centre.

Job Title: Clinic Nurse

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Our clinics operate from Monday to Saturday, with the selected candidates working 5 days per week, including one late-night shift and two Saturdays per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough medical assessments, examine, and counsel patients seeking contraceptive advice.
  2. Administer cervical smear tests and advise patients on cancer screening procedures, scheduling any required colposcopy appointments.
  3. Perform blood tests and swabs for STI screening as per established protocols.
  4. Collect blood samples upon request by doctors.
  5. Determine pregnancy outcomes and communicate them to clients.
  6. Carry out various clinical tasks, including cryotherapy and Depo Provera injections.
  7. Efficiently manage patient records and medical results using our digital system.
  8. Oversee daily clinic operations, including sample preparation and dispatch.
  9. Coordinate test results and schedule follow-up appointments as necessary.
  10. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and restocked.
  11. Notify the Operations Manager when stock levels are critically low.
  12. Supervise the maintenance of an emergency kit and replenish supplies promptly.
  13. Ensure the information point remains stocked with relevant materials.
  14. Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Medical Director or Operations Manager.
