TNM Healthcare is recruiting a Clinical Nurse Specialist to work in our Dublin hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) team and developing effective IPC strategies to prevent the spread of infections.
- Develop and implement IPC policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular IPC audits and surveillance to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on IPC activities and outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Formal recognised post-registration education relevant to the area of specialist practice at level 8.
- Candidates without the relevant post-graduate level 8 specialist course will be appointed as Clinical Nurse Manager II initially, but must agree to complete within an agreed timeframe.
