Develop a high-performing team as a Material Programs Manager, driving service excellence and revenue growth in the aviation industry. Lead the USM materials team to achieve business objectives, leveraging strong leadership skills and proven experience in part sales and purchasing.

About the Role

This senior leadership position involves monitoring performance, providing feedback, and conducting regular reviews to drive continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing, sales, and stock of materials effectively, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing strategies to enhance material programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the USM materials team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Monitor and report program performance to stakeholders.
  • Manage purchasing, sales, and stock of materials efficiently.
  • Identify and support new product opportunities and revenue streams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and improve material programs.
Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a third-level qualification in Business, Management, or a related discipline, with strong knowledge of the MRO sector. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a material trading role is required, along with a proven track record of leadership and team management. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
