Day Service Care Support Specialist

A care staff member in day services will be required to provide support and encouragement to service users.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a passion for making a positive impact on people's lives.
About the Role- Provide personal assistance to service users with intimate care, demonstrating sensitivity and respect at all times.
- Assist team members in delivering care services, prioritizing the safety of all individuals involved.
- Support service users in achieving their goals, encouraging self-advocacy and independence through collaborative planning.
- Facilitate swimming programs for service users, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Act as a key worker for service users, serving as their primary point of contact and supporting them in achieving their objectives.
- Contribute to the design and development of day services programs in line with New Directions, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
- A clean driving license is required, as you will participate in driving duties when needed.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to Adult Services policies, upholding confidentiality and discretion at all times.
