As a dedicated care professional, you will ensure high-quality standards of care and support for individuals with intellectual disabilities in our day services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic oversight and governance of assigned day services.
  • Manage the daily planning and activities of assigned day services, leading a team within the service.
  • Supervise staff and oversee their training and performance, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
  • Establish positive relationships with individuals based on equality and respect.
  • Report regularly to senior managers on the effective operation of work locations.
  • Maintain open communication with families and colleagues regarding supported individuals.
  • Implement operational plans as determined by Care Management, aligning with our organization's values.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Hold a CORU-approved Level 7 Degree in Social Care or registration with CORU as a Social Care professional.
  • Demonstrate commitment to improving lives through our services, embodying our organizational values.
  • Able to work independently and with complex needs in various situations, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
  • Exhibit excellent organisational and communication skills, fostering collaboration and effective teamwork.
  • Display high initiative and integrity, staying up-to-date with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Express genuine interest in supporting the rights and needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities, promoting inclusivity and respect.
  • Able to create clear reports regarding supported individuals, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to develop new approaches as individual needs evolve.
