Early Careers Manager Role

This role involves leading the management of Early Careers programs, covering Graduate, apprentice, and student activity. The goal is to attract, recruit, engage, and retain talent for Sisk's pipeline.


Main Responsibilities

The role holder will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of all Early Careers streams at Sisk.
  • Overseeing the attraction, recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding processes for respective streams.
  • Continuously improving existing program processes, including attraction and marketing strategies, induction, workshop development schedules, relevant policies, and offboarding.
  • Designing and implementing professional chartership forums to support Early Careers participants.
  • Maintaining strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, including Early Careers participants, mentors, line managers, HR, senior decision-makers, steering groups, and other support functions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an engaging and inquisitive attitude.
  • Experience in team management and leadership, with a role model demonstrating Sisk's company values of Care, Integrity, and Excellence.
  • Diplomacy in challenging the status-quo where decisions or initiatives are not serving the business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as resilience and ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • A proven track record of exhibiting an ability to plan, communicate, and implement initiatives.
