Job Description:

The Executive Planner is a multifaceted role within the Planning Department, reporting to senior leadership. This position involves managing various aspects of the department and providing strategic services to local authorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment of planning applications and proposals against council policies, with recommendations and policy responses as required;
  • Preparation, implementation, and monitoring of development plans, public realm projects, and schemes, including reports for senior executives and councils;
  • Mentoring of staff members and liaison with statutory bodies on planning matters;
  • Monitoring and reporting on implementation progress, including analysis of market activity;
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license or equivalent acceptable to relevant authorities;
  • A competent driver with car insurance that satisfies the requirements of local authorities;
