Job Title: Mechanical Contracts Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Mechanical Contracts Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality results and providing exceptional customer service.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical contracts, promoting best practice, and ensuring that all works are carried out to a high standard. This includes monitoring contracts for various sectors, procuring materials and appointments, and maintaining good working relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor contracts for various sectors, including commercial, education, healthcare, leisure, and large-scale residential.
  • Procure materials and appointments, ensuring specifications and requirements are met.
  • Maintain good working relationships with clients and ensure professional control over projects.
  • Provide technical support to customers and team members.
  • Attend design, technical, and progress meetings and assist in closing action points.
Person Specification:
  • A self-starter with positive dealings with directors, management teams, and staff.
  • Demonstrate sound technical awareness and commercial acumen.
  • Organized and structured planning skills, with attention to detail and strong communication.
  • Innovative approach to each project, with courtesy and respect for team members.
  • Good time management skills, with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Time served Plumber/Heating Engineer with commercial and industrial experience, or Building Services Engineering Degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to create meaningful reciprocal relationships.
  • Commercially aware of costs and trends in the market place.
  • Good knowledge of safety, health, environment, and quality systems.
