Experienced Construction Renovator Job

This position involves working on a variety of renovation projects, encompassing bathrooms, kitchens, and comprehensive property overhauls.

Duties:
  • Perform general masonry, metal stud framing, plasterboard installation, wall plastering, tiling, and painting tasks efficiently.
  • Take charge of full renovations, including bathroom refits and complete remodels, showcasing excellent project management skills.
  • Be responsible for small to medium-sized projects independently, demonstrating the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments at all times.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively, minimizing risks and ensuring high-quality results.
  • Regularly report progress and any issues directly to the site supervisor or company lead.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in full-scale renovations is mandatory.
  • Strong expertise in areas such as masonry, metalwork, and plastering is essential.
  • A valid driving license and ability to travel around Cork are necessary for this role.
  • Punctuality, responsibility, and the capability to work independently are highly valued traits.
  • While English is not required, adaptability and effective communication skills are crucial for success in this position.
  • Previous experience managing small projects is a significant advantage.
