Job Title:
Supplier Quality Engineer – Strategic Partnership Developer
We are seeking a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to drive strategic partnerships and deliver high-quality components to our manufacturing line.
This role will play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction by leading containment and corrective action activities with suppliers.
- Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and executing all supplier quality-related activities, delivering on-time PPAP and flawless launch for responsible components.
- Lead project teams related to incoming quality issues, CAPA, cost reduction, and quality system excellence driving process and systemic quality improvements.
- Collaborate with the Supplier Development group to drive supplier quality improvement work and request support when needed.
- Assist suppliers in quality assurance processes and procedures to facilitate continuous improvement of supplier and product performance.
Requirements:
- In-depth understanding and ability to apply Advanced Quality Planning processes and Quality Systems.
- Understanding of quality models and theories, advanced statistical techniques, problem-solving, and prevention, project management, and planning tools, process management, and improvement tools, lean methodology, and visual management.
- Proven team-oriented and proactive change agent with a true hands-on and collaborative approach in implementing and improving supplier quality.
