Job Title: Rail Infrastructure Planner

The Rail Infrastructure Planner will be responsible for developing and implementing bus service plans and general transport planning within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement bus service plans, including route design, scheduling, and frequency adjustments to optimize transportation efficiency.
  • Analyze ridership data and traffic patterns to inform service planning decisions that ensure safe and reliable services.

  • Promote sustainable practices in bus service planning, including eco-friendly vehicles and technologies to minimize environmental impact.
  • Conduct public consultations and surveys to gather feedback on bus services and incorporate community input into planning processes.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on bus service performance and planning initiatives for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and other transportation experts to facilitate collaborative planning and implementation efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in public transportation to continuously improve bus services and meet evolving community needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and customer service, to ensure seamless integration of bus services and maximize overall effectiveness.
