Job Description:

This is a challenging role for an experienced accountant who can deliver high-quality accounting and administration services to assigned clients.

The successful candidate will act as a point of contact for clients and auditors, addressing queries and supporting audits. Ensuring client service levels and regulatory filing deadlines are consistently met will be a key responsibility.

About the Role:

  • Support the administration and reporting of Private Equity Funds in a leading financial services organisation based in Limerick.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, auditors, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of fund accounting services.
  • Work on a 9-month contract with some possibility of extension or other opportunities arising.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare management accounts and work with debits and credits.
  • Understand and apply Irish regulatory/tax regime relating to fund accounting.
  • Maintain knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, or IFRS.
  • Process operating expenses accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments with clients and stakeholders effectively.

We Are Looking For:

  • Experience working in fund accounting, ideally with private equity.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word essential.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding fund accounting desirable.
