You'll be part of an amazing team that prides itself on technical excellence and high-quality service.

Right now, we're hiring Trainee Accountants to join our teams in Financial Reporting team at our offices in Limerick.
If you're based in (or willing to relocate to) Limerick, you'll be joining an energetic, supportive team in a thriving office.
(We have opportunities in Cork and Bantry as well – all with the same fantastic team culture and growth mindset.)
About the Role – Trainee Accountant - Financial Reporting
As a Trainee Accountant - Financial Reporting at DM Financial, you'll get hands-on experience from day one, assisting in preparing financial reports for regulated investment funds and vehicles across multiple jurisdictions – including the US, Ireland, Luxembourg, the UK, Singapore, the Cayman Islands, Australia, France, and Hong Kong.
In other words, you'll be working on real financial statements for clients around the world, building valuable international experience.
You'll join a growing, technically strong team that delivers high-quality financial reporting services to demanding global clients.
It's a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, but you'll have a supportive group of mentors and colleagues to help you thrive.
This role is all about learning by doing – building a solid foundation for your career in accounting and financial services while contributing to important projects.
Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be expected to:
Prepare financial statements for various investment funds and vehicles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
Draft financial highlights and disclosures for inclusion in quarterly and annual reports.
Produce periodic management accounts (monthly, quarterly, etc.) for clients to keep them updated on their financial performance.
Develop supporting schedules and detailed Excel workpapers to back up figures and analyses in the financial statements.
Liaise with auditors, fund administrators, investment managers, and other service providers to coordinate the audit and reporting process.
Present completed financial statements for internal review, incorporating feedback and ensuring they meet our quality standards.
Research and apply technical accounting treatments in complex areas, sharpening your knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP in practice.
Every day will bring new learning opportunities – one day you might be working through an IFRS technical issue for a Cayman fund, the next you could be coordinating with auditors on a tight deadline.
It's challenging work, but you won't be doing it alone.
Our team-based approach means you'll have guidance when you need it and independence when you're ready.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking ambitious trainees who are keen to learn and make an impact.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
An Honours degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
(Strong academic performance is a plus – it shows us you've got the fundamentals.)
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
You'll be working with both colleagues and clients, so being able to clearly explain numbers and collaborate with others is key.
The ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines.
Our environment is fast-paced, and timelines can be demanding, so good time management is essential.
A self-starter attitude with strong attention to detail.
We love team members who take initiative and double-check their work.
Little mistakes can have big consequences in financial reports, so an eye for detail will serve you well.
An academic understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
If you've studied accounting standards in college, that's an advantage – you'll be applying those standards in real scenarios here.
Industry experience or an internship in an accounting or finance role (a plus, but not required).
Any practical experience will help you hit the ground running, but we'll teach you what you need to know if you're the right fit.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.
You'll be living in spreadsheets and documents, so being comfortable with Excel formulas, pivot tables, and Word formatting will make your life easier.
Legal right to work in Ireland.
You must have the appropriate work authorization, as this role is based in our Irish offices.
If you're the kind of person who is proactive, eager to learn, and not afraid to ask questions, you'll fit right in with our team.
We know you might be just starting your career – and that's okay
We're more interested in your attitude and potential than in years of experience.
What You Can Expect
When you join DM Financial as a Graduate Associate, we invest in your future.
Here's what you can look forward to as part of our team:
Full training contract (ACA / ACCA) – We will support you through your professional accounting qualification.

You can expect flexibility in how you work (once you're up to speed) and a fair holiday allowance to recharge.
A structured Learning & Development program – Beyond your accounting qualification, we provide in-house training sessions, workshops, and continuous learning opportunities to help you develop new skills.
Ongoing professional development and clear career growth opportunities – As we continue to grow, so can your career.
Many of our managers and senior staff started in graduate roles.
With us, you'll have a clear pathway to progress if you're motivated and perform well.
Experience working with global clients – You'll gain exposure to international clients, including listed investment entities, giving you insight into global markets and best practices in financial services.
A supportive team culture – We're proud of our collaborative and friendly culture.
Even though we work to high standards and tight deadlines, you'll find people are always willing to help each other.
It's a dynamic, fast-paced environment, but you'll never be just a number to us – you'll be a valued member of the team.
We also love to celebrate our successes and milestones.
Whether it's completing a tough audit, passing your exams, or hitting a company goal, we recognize and reward hard work.
Plus, with colleagues and offices around the world, you'll have a chance to build an international professional network from right here in Limerick (or Cork/Bantry).
