Senior Culinary Manager

The Culinary Operations Director plays a pivotal role in the Catering Service, overseeing the overall management and development of the service. This entails ensuring high-quality meals are consistently produced across all service areas, leading kitchen teams, and providing education and training to Community Employment Workers, Student Placements, and Volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Catering Services.
- Evaluate nutritional needs and ensure adherence to guidelines for various target groups.
- Maintain service capacity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Carry out related duties, including administration and coordination as needed.
- Collaborate with target groups in menu planning and development.
- Oversee food and equipment procurement, manage budgets, and maintain regulatory standards.
- Identify new business opportunities, including growth areas and emerging markets.
- Establish objectives for the service area.
- Provide reports to the Voluntary Board of Management.
- Recruit trainees, interns, and employment participants.
- Develop individual learning plans for career pathways in partnership with the Education Development Worker.
