Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and special calibrations on various equipment, including process, lab, and facility systems.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into out-of-tolerance events and support root-cause analysis to ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of calibration activities, including update of calibration records and management of reference standards.
  • Collaborate with QA, Production, and Maintenance teams to schedule calibrations with minimal downtime and ensure seamless integration with existing workflows.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A level 6/7 apprenticeship, higher certificate, national diploma, or equivalent qualification in instrumentation, mechatronics, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in calibration/instrumentation/metrology, preferably in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • Strong knowledge of calibration principles, uncertainty, and traceability, as well as hands-on experience with process and lab instruments.
