Transforming healthcare through innovative software development is a pioneering business that's changing the game in the United States. We're seeking a dynamic Staff Engineer - Mobile Apps to join our team.

About This Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced engineer who will be responsible for advancing our architecture and mobile product, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

You'll partner with engineers, product managers, and engineering managers to build innovative products that make our omni-channel shopping experience easy and seamless. Your expertise will be invaluable in shaping our software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, as well as our health and e-commerce domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop complex mobile code, particularly in high-traffic areas
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineers to iterate features and improve our product
  • Mentor/guide team members on regular basis
  • Improve and maintain our mobile apps CI and CD infrastructure and pipelines
  • Provide high-level tooling support to team engineers
  • Continuously monitor application health and KPIs, support triage of any production issues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 7+ years of software development experience, including 7+ years designing/developing iOS mobile applications
  • 4+ years of experience with modern Android or iOS development frameworks such as Jetpack compose and Kotlin or Swift
  • 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver great user experiences
  • 5+ years of experience influencing large organizations on best practices in mobile iOS development
  • 5+ years of accessibility experience

We welcome candidates with a strong desire to build in test from the start, experience with telemetry and observability beyond Firebase, and a proven track record of releasing customer-facing applications on the Playstore or App Store.
