Job Title: Financial Specialist

The HPC Group is seeking a highly skilled financial specialist to join their team. This individual will be responsible for managing the company's finances, including preparing monthly management accounts and detailed quarterly accounts.


The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and be proficient in financial software. They will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within the organisation.


The successful candidate will have a BSc in Accounting, Finance or a relevant degree, along with recognised professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage cash flow and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in financial software and systems.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Proactive approach with ability to use own initiative and willingness to accept responsibility.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
  • Recognised professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role.
