In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to develop personalized interventions aimed at addressing the complex needs of our young residents. Your primary focus will be on providing nurturing care, protection, and encouragement to young people who have experienced trauma or exhibit challenging behaviour.

  • You will work collaboratively with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young residents.
  • You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to the residential unit and individual young people, adhering to strict legal and regulatory requirements.
  • You will communicate effectively with parents, family members, and other stakeholders on behalf of the young person, ensuring their voice is heard and valued.
Responsibilities:
  • Advocate for the social work, aftercare, education, training, and legal rights of young individuals.
  • Foster the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being of each young person under our care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and challenges of each young resident.
Essential Requirements:
  • A Third level Degree in Social Care or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in a social care environment at a professional level or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Child Protection
  • Experience of key working, assessments, and care planning.
  • Full clean driving license required
