Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mill Electrical Specialist to join our team at Boliden Tara Mines in Navan, County Meath. The successful candidate will work within the mill department area of responsibility, participating in daily electrical, instrumentation, and automation maintenance and development.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct all duties promoting environmental, health, safety, and quality performance in line with applicable procedures.
  • Maintenance, repair, and development of mill department equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with relevant electrical and automation standards.
  • Perform maintenance tasks for new and existing equipment and systems as directed and/or scheduled.
  • Ensure 5S, housekeeping, and cleaning of all work areas.
Requirements
  • A qualified Electrical/Instrumentation craftsperson (QQI Level 6 Craft Qualification) coupled with experience in instrumentation and automation.
  • Knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems including HV, control systems, SCADA systems.
  • Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives would be beneficial.
