Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across departments to anticipate procurement needs and deliver timely, budget-friendly solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Lead inventory management, tooling, and fleet management with precision and accountability, ensuring maximum ROI and minimal waste.
  • Monitor and optimize hired plant and equipment to ensure cost-effectiveness and availability.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in procurement, preferably in mechanical, engineering, or construction sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, lead improvements, and implement process changes that drive business results.
  • Commercial acumen with strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills, enabling effective collaboration and mutual benefit.
  • Experience using procurement or ERP systems, with a preference for Sage Professional.
  • A problem-solver who thrives on autonomy, owns their workload, and delivers high-quality results.
