Market Risk Officer, Vice President Job Overview

The Market Risk Officer, Vice President is a critical member of the risk management team responsible for analyzing and mitigating market risk exposure in various financial products.

This role focuses on ensuring the integrity of the risk monitoring process associated with stress testing, summarizing outcomes and findings for senior governance forums, and autonomously monitoring business compliance with market risk-related policies.

  • Develop and implement risk systems, including technology applications for relevant market risk metrics and workflows.
  • Collaborate with senior mentors on mid to long-term projects enhancing analytical capacity and strategic planning.
  • Interact with In-Business Risk functions to understand sources of market risk variation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and address market risk-related issues.
Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant years of experience in market risk management or a related field.
  • A degree in a quantitative or financial discipline.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments, risk metrics, and Market Risk Management principles.
