Job Title:

Maintenance and Repair Technician

Job Description:

We are recruiting a skilled Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our team of engineers working with clients across various sectors.

  • Carrying out installation, maintenance, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of automated warehousing systems at customer sites.
  • Providing responsive support via telephone and on-site visits.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues in corrective maintenance.
  • Liaising with office teams and other staff members.
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance at customer locations.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years' experience in electrical and mechanical field service; relevant experience as a Technician/Engineer essential.

Key skills include IT, networking, and PC-based diagnostics and repair expertise; capable of working independently at customer sites; proficient in Microsoft Office applications; strong safety awareness with excellent attention to detail; technically adept problem solver with strong communication skills.

A full, clean driving licence is mandatory.

Person Specification:
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in electrical and mechanical field service.
  • Relevant experience as a Technician/Engineer essential.
  • Qualification via training, diploma, degree, or time-served apprenticeship in a relevant field.
  • IT, networking, and PC-based diagnostics and repair skills advantageous.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Strong safety mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Technically minded problem solver with strong communication skills.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
