Network Infrastructure Project Manager Position Overview

The Network Infrastructure Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, implementation, and delivery of network infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities include upgrading and migrating LAN and WAN infrastructure, firewall migrations, load balancer deployments, proxy server installations, and managing data centre and campus network refresh/migration projects.

  • Cisco switch LAN upgrades/migrations
  • Cisco Router WAN upgrades/migrations
  • Firewall migrations - Fortinet/FortiGate, Juniper SRX, Cisco ASA's, Checkpoint
  • F5 Load Balancer migrations
  • Proxy Server deployments/migrations - Bluecoats
  • Managing Data Centre network & Security refresh/migration projects
  • Managing Campus LAN refresh/migration projects
  • WLAN deployment/migration projects

Additionally, the successful candidate will possess strong risk and issue management skills, governance expertise, finance and budget management capabilities, stakeholder and client management acumen, technical strategy design and execution experience, requirement gathering and analysis abilities, people management and development skills, knowledge transfer training documentation proficiency, bid response revenue assurance know-how, and process improvement aptitude.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 and Waterfall.

Must be based in Dublin or surrounding areas in Ireland to be considered for this opportunity.
