Key Responsibilities:- Improve speech clarity, language comprehension, and expression by employing evidence-based techniques.
- Support social communication and relationship-building skills through interactive tools and exercises.
- Address speech and language difficulties linked to anxiety, depression, cognitive impairments, and other conditions by providing tailored therapy plans.
- Develop strategies for stuttering, voice issues, and delayed language development.
- Conduct informal assessments and develop comprehensive therapy plans that cater to individual needs.
- Utilise real-life scenarios and exercises to enhance communication skills.
- Offer ongoing support and adapt therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Degree-qualified and CORU registered Speech and Language Therapist with experience working in mental health or complex communication settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care that prioritises client-centred approaches.
- Confident in freelance work arrangements and able to travel to Dublin.
