Sterile Testing Environment

We are seeking a Microbiology Team Lead to join our team. As a leader, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring a team of 5-6 microbiologists.

The role involves overseeing microbiological testing, including sterility, BET, MLT, EM, and water system monitoring. You will review and approve microbiological test reports, EM trends, alert/action level excursions, and investigation documentation.

Your responsibilities will also include ensuring timely data approval and entry into LIMS or other applicable systems. Additionally, you will maintain compliance with cGMP, GDP, and regulatory standards, such as USFDA, EMA, MHRA, and WHO.

You will lead deviation investigations, OOS/OOT assessments, and CAPA implementation and closure. Furthermore, you will review and update SOPs, qualification protocols, and risk assessments for microbiology and EM programs.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in Microbiology or a related life science field (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
  • 5-8 years of experience in microbiology within a sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing setting
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Strong leadership capabilities and a detail-oriented mindset
