Job Description
We are seeking a Clinical Tutor/Lecturer to participate in the development, direction, teaching, facilitation, and examinations of the undergraduate teaching programme in Clinical Microbiology. The successful candidate will deliver small group simulation teaching, assess clinical microbiology teaching, and contribute to curriculum development.

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be medically qualified, possess evidence of registration with the Irish Medical Council, and have MRCPI or equivalent qualifications. Excellent communication skills and a keen interest in lecturing and interacting with undergraduate students are essential. Previous experience in clinical microbiology, teaching, and assessing students in an academic environment is desirable.

Other Responsibilities
In addition to the main responsibilities, the successful candidate will conduct research, perform clinical work on-site in RCSI Teaching Hospitals, and ensure adherence to Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland policies and procedures.
