Job Description

We are seeking a professional to maintain and improve our existing quality and environmental systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Integrated Management System (IMS), working closely with the Safety Manager and other departments, and ensuring compliance with IMS.

The candidate will also be responsible for managing current and future ISO standards, broadening systems to achieve 55001 Asset Management and separate Carbon Ladder Certification, and ensuring Quality, Environmental, and Energy Management requirements are incorporated into decision-making processes.

The candidate will prepare and submit Monthly Reports to clients, control data-gathering processes for Monthly Report preparation, and prepare and submit Yearly Reports. Additionally, the candidate will control the preparation and storage of data, correspondence, and documentation, initiate safety, quality, and design documentation for activities and submit to clients under certification.

The candidate will review plans, procedures, RAMs, etc., when required, ensure management reviews are carried out at regular intervals, and develop measuring tools for project performance with the Operations Manager. The candidate will also prepare quality submissions for clients before construction or renewal projects, develop testing protocols with subcontractors, control, monitor, testing, and inspection of works.

The candidate will manage production of testing and inspection data for supplying to clients, ensure operations comply with company and legislative environmental requirements, maintain and adapt energy and carbon use recording processes, produce year-end Energy Management Report, and manage waste records and set up sub-waste management plans for larger projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Level eight qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional qualification

• Membership of recognised industry body (Engineers Ireland, Institute of Asphalt Technology, Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation, etc.)
