Monitoring Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surveying Specialist to join our team. As a Field Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading and delivering survey works on various projects, using a range of specialized equipment and technology.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and deliver survey works on small to medium-sized or moderately complex projects.
  • Undertake various types of surveys sessions using total stations, GNSS, and data collectors.
  • Support senior surveyors in larger or more complex projects.
  • Record surveying information accurately and consistently on site.
  • Process data from the field into the office, post-processing with software like AutoCAD.
  • Assist with detailed field and office surveying assignments.
  • Maintain and upkeep all survey kit.
  • Deliver work to company policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
Requirements of the Role
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in surveying using topographic instruments.
  • Relevant qualifications and/or relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of surveying principles and monitoring techniques.
  • Experience working in the Irish construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and role-related post-processing software.
  • Valid Ireland/EU manual driver's license.
