Job Description

A Senior Manager of Quality Assurance, New Product Introduction is responsible for leading the execution of quality strategies for new product launches. This includes driving speed-to-market, risk mitigation, and compliance.

This role will influence the development and introduction of new products, processes, and technologies. It also involves setting direction for the team to partner with stakeholders in driving robust preventative measures and improvements of product quality and process design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution of new product development strategy to develop highly capable processes resulting in high yield and enable scalability.
  • Promote the optimization of inspection strategies for launch through technology, automation, and supplier certification.
  • Inspire others by coaching and developing staff who champion quality assurance during the product development process.
  • Oversight and responsibility to ensure appropriate production and process controls are identified, qualified, and implemented throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Drive robust pFMEA and critical to quality attributes (CQA) identification to deliver accurate process risk identification, process characterization, process validation, process capability, robust process control, and supplier capability.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science discipline and at least 10 years of experience in a Medical, Pharmaceutical, Bio-Medical/Pharma, Automotive, or regulated manufacturing environment.

They should also have minimum of 6+ years' experience and a proven track record of successfully creating and managing a highly talented, engaged, and performing team.
