Senior Manager of Quality Assurance for New Product Introduction

This role entails leading the execution of quality strategies for NPIs, prioritizing speed-to-market, risk mitigation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to drive quality assurance initiatives and foster a culture of excellence within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate and lead design for manufacture and assembly through strategic leadership and direction in quality assurance for new product launches.
  • Influence the development and introduction of new products, processes, and technologies, focusing on process risk management, including robust pFMEA, to deliver high-quality products at launch.
  • Inspire cross-functional teams to collaborate effectively, driving robust preventative measures and improvements in product quality and process design.
  • Establish strategic direction: Drive the execution of new product development strategy, aiming to develop highly capable processes that result in high yield and enable scalability.
  • Build organizational capacity: Promote the optimization of inspection strategies for launch through technology, automation, and supplier certification.
  • Deliver results: Ensure effective production and process controls are identified, qualified, and implemented throughout the manufacturing process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10+ years' experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably in Medical, Pharmaceutical, Bio-Medical/Pharma, Automotive, or similar sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully navigating multiple areas, sites, and positions within the quality organization is advantageous.
  • Expert working knowledge of regulatory requirements, standards, and regulations is essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of quality tools such as SPC / Process Control, FMEA, Problem Solving / Root Cause Analysis, Poka-Yoke, and other Six Sigma tools.
