Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Qualified Accountant to join our client's team in North Kildare. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to develop their skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assisting in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting to support business growth.
  • Overseeing VAT, payroll, and tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Recently qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualifications.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a SME, construction, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management skills.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and Excel.
