15h Left Resident Engineer – Water

About This Role:

As a key member of our water infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing expert supervision and management on various projects to deliver new and upgrade water/wastewater network improvements in the Dublin area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a programme of work to deliver new and upgrade water/wastewater network improvements in the Dublin area, ensuring successful project completion within designated timelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, promoting efficient and effective implementation of watermain upgrades and rehabilitation techniques, leakage repair/wastewater upgrades, and treatment works.
  • Develop and implement health and safety procedures, adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines, to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in projects.
  • Evaluate and manage construction contracts, with experience in FIDIC and Public Works forms advantageous but not essential.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including documentation of SafePass cards and confined spaces training.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Health and Safety procedures and regulations.
  • Satisfactory knowledge of construction contracts; experience in FIDIC and Public Works forms of contract advantageous but not essential.
  • A valid SafePass card and confined spaces training desirable.
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing effective collaboration within a team environment.
Additional Information:

This position may require occasional travel, necessitating flexibility regarding travel arrangements. You should be able to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining focus on achieving project objectives.
