Cloud Engineering Role

As a cloud engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing internal cloud platform components, frameworks, and offerings. You will work with customers to design, develop, and maintain their own solutions in AWS.

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based systems using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Develop best practice solutions built on cloud-native tooling in AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build new features and capabilities.
Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Extensive experience developing object-oriented Python code and working with package management.
  • Experience developing Cloud Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Experience developing serverless AWS applications with Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
  • Systems engineering knowledge, including understanding of Linux security and networking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred but not required:

  • Experience building with AWS Direct Connect, Direct Connect Gateway, and Transit Gateway.
  • Experience with Route53 and DNS management in large-scale infrastructures.
  • Experience developing solutions on container platforms like Docker and Elastic Container Service.
