We are seeking an experienced tax professional to join our organization in Dublin. As a specialist tax firm, we pride ourselves on providing expert advice and practical solutions to complex tax issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet with clients on a regular basis to discuss their tax needs and provide personalized advice.
- Draft client advice letters and memos with the assistance of senior colleagues.
- Advise clients on tax reliefs available for family business succession, residence changes, and business sales.
- Perform tax due diligence and liaise with clients and revenue authorities.
- Represent clients on appeals to the tax appeals commission.
- Research complex taxation matters across all tax heads.
- Prepare and review tax computations and income tax returns to ensure compliance with filing deadlines.
- Supervise junior staff and participate in internal training sessions.
- Hold a qualified chartered tax advisor (CTA) qualification and ideally a professional accountancy certification.
- Have at least 1-2 years post-qualification experience with specific tax experience in personal or corporate tax.
- Excel in interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Have the ability to interpret tax legislation.
