Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming tasks.
  • Encourage and aid patients in exercises and mobility activities directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Help patients with eating and drinking.
  • Support patients with wound care and dressing changes.
  • Ensure accurate patient records are maintained.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control practice.
  • Record observations and report changes in patient condition.
  • Organize and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Access to a vehicle is desirable.
  • Full 8 Modules of QQI/Fetac Level 5 completed.
