The Role & Team
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manager of the Migrant Integration Team at South Dublin County Partnership. The SDCP Migrant Integration Team works closely with newly arrived International Protection Applicants, Ukrainian Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection, refugees, and the Roma community in the community and at our drop-in intercultural centre in Tallaght village.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, guiding the Migrant Integration Team of staff and volunteers in delivering a range of community-based services, including English language classes, 1-2-1 support and advocacy, employment support and training, community-based projects, and cultural events.

Delivering projects at our Tallaght-based drop-in centre and across the South County Dublin, this role offers an evolving environment with space for creativity and innovation, making it suitable for a driven and passionate leader.

Reporting directly to the Migrant Integration and Employment Placement Senior Manager, the successful candidate will contribute significantly to the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver innovative programs to address the needs of the migrant community, focusing on hard-to-reach groups.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management to develop and implement long-term strategies for migrant integration in South County Dublin.
  • Lead and manage the Migrant Integration Project staff team, promoting effective service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local organizations and government agencies.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of managerial experience, preferably in migrant integration or a related field.
  • Degree in Management, Social Sciences, Community Development, Social Care, Migrant Integration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in project development and management, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in report writing and meeting funding deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders.
