This role presents a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of pension matters across various sectors, within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and update pension scheme documentation
  • Negotiate complex transactions, including contentious matters
  • Provide guidance on day-to-day pension scheme queries and member complaints
  • Support sponsoring employers, trustees, and committees on legislative compliance and scheme rules
  • Advise on the creation and amendment of employee incentive plans

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and organisational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and high attention to detail. They must also have sound judgment with a keen interest in maintaining and sharing legal knowledge.

Requirements:
  • Qualified solicitor or barrister in Ireland or England/Wales
  • Post-qualification experience in pensions from a reputable law firm
  • Strong technical expertise in pension law and regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
  • Sound professional judgment and integrity
