Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join our team in Dublin City Centre.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and be able to effectively manage and maintain electrical equipment on-site.

They will also be responsible for reporting existing or potential problems with equipment to the facilities engineer, working with mechanical/multi-skilled technicians to effectively manage/maintain multi-disciplinary equipment, and responding to service calls logged with the facilities help desk.

The successful candidate will also be required to ensure all sub-contractors understand reported problems and fully conduct service visit or callout works, manage daily helpdesk requests from receipt of request to completion and sign-off of task, work effectively with other operations functions to fully complete client requests, conduct inspections of equipment and record in local maintenance folders, and carry out other tasks as assigned by the facilities engineer.

They will also be expected to oversee sub-contractors ensuring best practice is performed, provide energy reduction recommendations on plant operations relevant to role, and demonstrate flexibility and availability to work overtime.

Additionally, they will be required to enforce a zero-tolerance policy to unsafe working practices and target a goal-zero accident rate.

  • Experience of working in a professional team-based office environment
  • Experience of communicating with clients/customers and providing excellent customer service
  • Trade qualification
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems
