Air Export Specialist Position

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Air Export Specialist to join our logistics team. As an Air Export Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing export bookings for airfreight shipments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process export bookings for airfreight shipments ensuring timely customer invoicing and payment.
  • Track shipments from booking through to delivery and ensure efficient transit times.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to both clients and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with airlines to secure competitive rates and efficient transit times.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse and transport teams regarding collections and freight handling.
  • Prepare and label goods for export.
  • Handle sales and purchase invoicing, resolving any discrepancies or queries.
  • Respond to rate requests and issue accurate quotations.
  • Support the development and growth of the airfreight service.
  • Collaborate with international agent network to ensure seamless end-to-end service.

Key Requirements:

  • Provide holiday cover for operations colleagues as required.
  • Offer administrative support to the wider airfreight team.
  • Occasionally attend client meetings when needed.
  • Carry out other ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
