Leading Electrical Maintenance Expert Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Team Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and managing skilled electricians in a highly automated industrial setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including instrumentation, PLCs, and Variable Speed Drives, ensuring plant safety and reliability.
The role also involves reducing equipment downtime through quick responses, thorough root cause analysis, and effective problem-solving.
You will train electricians on electrical systems and instrumentation, enhancing their fault-finding abilities.
A key aspect of the job is overseeing a team of maintenance electricians, apprentices, and contractor electricians.
You will ensure the completion and continuous review of planned maintenance routines using a maintenance management system.
Requirements- Effective management and motivation of team members
- Qualified Electrician with a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Electrical or equivalent
- Proficient in switchgear, MCC controls, relay logic, and various AC and DC voltage systems
- Diagnostics and problem-solving skills in an industrial setting
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical process plants and related maintenance activities within the wastewater industry
- At least 10 years of experience in an industrial environment
- Understanding of Health & Safety statutory requirements, responsibilities, and obligations
