Electrical Maintenance Lead Position

Your new role involves leading a team of skilled electricians in an industrial setting, focusing on maintenance tasks for electrical systems and instrumentation. This includes ensuring plant safety and reliability by performing tasks such as troubleshooting and problem-solving.

You will also be responsible for training electricians on electrical systems and instrumentation, enhancing their fault-finding abilities. Additionally, you will oversee a team of maintenance electricians, apprentices, and contractor electricians, ensuring the completion and review of planned maintenance routines using the PEMAC maintenance management system.

This is a key position within the organization, requiring a highly skilled and experienced professional who can effectively manage and motivate team members. You will work closely with colleagues to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage, and inspire a team of skilled electricians in an industrial setting.
  • Perform maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including instrumentation, PLCs, and Variable Speed Drives, ensuring plant safety and reliability.
  • Reduce equipment downtime through quick responses, thorough root cause analysis, and effective problem-solving.
  • Train electricians on electrical systems and instrumentation, enhancing their fault-finding abilities.
  • Oversee a team of maintenance electricians, apprentices, and contractor electricians.
  • Ensure the completion and continuous review of planned maintenance routines using the PEMAC maintenance management system.
Requirements:
  • Showcase the ability to effectively manage and motivate team members.
  • Qualified Electrician with a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Electrical or equivalent.
  • Proficient in switchgear, MCC controls, relay logic, and various AC and DC voltage systems.
  • Possess high-level diagnostic and problem-solving skills in an industrial setting.
  • Familiar with mechanical and electrical process plants and related maintenance activities within the wastewater industry.
  • Bring 10 years of experience in an industrial environment.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Health & Safety statutory requirements, responsibilities, and obligations.
What You'll Get:
  • Salary up to €70,000 plus bonus.
